VISIONARY
Dan was passionate about family services and deeply committed to removing non-academic barriers to student achievement.
Dan worked as both an assistant principal and principal in the Westminster Public Schools district where he ran the beloved “VOICES” program.
Dan died shortly after retiring in 2010, but his values and commitment to all students lives on through the Daniel C. Vallez Family Education Center.

GED/HIGH SCHOOL EQUIVALENCY (both English and Spanish)
High School Equivalency classes offered in both English and Spanish. Prepare for the Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, and Science GED or
HiSET tests.
REGISTRATION: March 11, 12 and 13th at 5:30 p.m.
Classes begin the Monday after registration at 5:30 p.m. You must register before classes start. Classes are scheduled for Monday-Wednesday, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Please do not be late and plan to spend 2.5-3 hours with us.
These courses are free with the commitment to attend class regularly and complete required tasks for adults over the age of 18.

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE FOR PARENTS
Sponsored by Metropolitan State University, Adult English as a Second Language (ESL) Classes for low to upper-intermediate levels given in a Family Literacy style with a focus on Reading, Life Skills, Parenting for Academic Success, and Technology.
Classes are currently full. Registration for fall semester is August 2024.
Classes begin the Monday after registration and run Monday-Thursday.
Please do not be late and plan to spend 2.5-3 hours with us.
Free childcare will be available for children aged 1-5.

Catholic Charities will be hosting a workshop to assist immigrants in completing the TSP applications. Participants are pre-registered to attend.

Westminster Public Schools will be hosting the 2nd annual Latinacon for latina students and parents. Registration is by invitation only.
