DANIEL C. VALLEZ WAS A

Dan was passionate about family services and deeply committed to removing non-academic barriers to student achievement.


Dan worked as both an assistant principal and principal in the Westminster Public Schools district where he ran the beloved “VOICES” program.


Dan died shortly after retiring in 2010, but his values and commitment to all students lives on through the Daniel C. Vallez Family Education Center.

Sponsored by Metropolitan State University, Adult English as a Second Language (ESL) Classes for low to upper-intermediate levels given in a Family Literacy style with a focus on Reading, Life Skills, Parenting for Academic Success, and Technology.

High School Equivalency classes offered in both English and Spanish. Prepare for the Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, and Science GED or

HiSET tests.
